Abstract
The orientation for Zhejiang University of Science and Technology is determined by its current and future development and the needs of the provincial economic and social development.In order to nurture advanced undergraduates with background,three relations should be grasped-practicality and all-round development,knowledge teaching and skills developing,disciplinal and vocational demands.Learning management from German universities of applied science and actively exploring effective ways to nurture advanced undergraduates with background would make the university distinctive.The distinguishing features of being international and practical should be realized at the levels of teaching staff fostering,student nurturing,discipline developing and university culture cultivation.
