Abstract
Taking Jinan city as the study object and using the method of mathematical modeling, the characteristics of foreign tourists in number,composition,consumption and behaviors during 2000—2005 are analyzed,and the foreign tourist markets of Jinan city can be divided into the main market,the secondary market and the other market.As the main market,the number of tourists in Hongkong region,Macao region,Taiwan region and Japan has been relatively stable. As the secondary market,U.S.and Asia Pacific zone hold the very great proportion.Some developed countries,such as the United Kingdom,France,Germany,Italy,Switzerland,New Zealand,Australia and Canada are also the indispensable part of foreign tourist markets of Jinan city.
