Between 1889 and 1947 Canadian protestant missionaries preached through offering medical treatment in the area of Weihui.According to the different political situations of different periods,the different situations of the people and the characteristics of the missionaries,they have experienced the stage of careful development of preaching through giving medicine,the golden stage of development of preaching while offering medical treatment,interactive with both heal the soul and cure the body,and the further development stage in which medical treatment and preaching looked apparently different but actually the some in purposes.The approaches of the soul heal and the body cure penetrated and conflicted with each other.
