The Diagnostic Effect of Capsule Endoscopy in Obscure Gastrointestinal Bleeding
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness of M2A capsule endoscopy in patients with obscure gastrointestinal bleeding, especially in intestinal hemorrhage. Methods:From February 2004 to March 2007,Given(M2A) capsule endoscopy system was used in 86 patients, who were suspected of small bowel bleeding. The patients were 7 to 85 years old, most of them(69/86) underwent gastroscopy, colonoscopy or air-baricum double contract examination, but all of them were negative. The others(17/86) didn't receive any examinations because of their intolerance.Result:About 71 of the 86 patients were found the bleeding sites in gastric mucosa, small intestine or colon by capsule endoscopy, the total diagnostic rate is 82.56%(71/86).Among the patients, approximately 44.19% persons were found disorder in gastric(38/86).The disorders include arteriolar bleeding in gastric 6,gastric mucosa erosion or ulcer 19,prominence or polipi in gastric 13.It disclosed small bowel pathologic findings in 62 out of 86 patients(72.09%).The findings consisted of angiodysplasia 12,mutipolypi in the intestine 8,and 1 of them was diagnosed Cronkhite-Canada syndrome, prominence in the intestine 11,single or multiple ulcers in the intestine 13,whatever 7 of them were diagnosed intestinal Crohn's disease, diffuse mucosa lesion in the intestine 27 and diverticulum 4.In addition, there were 4 patients were detected prominency in colon 4,whereas 15 patients were not found any change in their gastrointestinal tracts. It was the true that about 26 patients appeared 2 sites or more then 2 sites pathological changes. Conclusion:This study demonstrated that capsule endoscopy provided an excellent visualization way for the intestines, especially when the patients suffered obscure gastrointestinal bleeding. It was safety and usefulness for evaluating suspected small bowel bleeding.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
