Abstract
With Zhengdan958 as control to study the grain yield,canopy structure and physiology indexes of waxy corn Shennuo No.6 under five planting densities.The results showed that the grain yield of Shennuo No.6 could reach to 7122.5kg/hm2 at 75000 plants/hm2,and had insignificant differences in contrast to the highest yield of control.The biomass and the LAI of Shennuo No.6 were lower than that of control in the same density,the harvest index was higher than that of control at the high densities,and duration of the maximum LAI was relatively longer than that of control at the high densities.There were no differences of the chlorophyll content compared with control.Waxy corn Shennuo No.6 has higher photosynthetic rate and less influence of density under the five densities;The canopy transmittance below the ear was higher than that of control during grain-filling stage at 67500 to 82500 plants/hm2.Good permeability might be the main reason of photosynthetic rate and LAI higher than control.
