Abstract
Railroad stations are a part of the architectural heritage of Canada which are often taken for granted and left to deteriorate in communities,and a number of stations have been demolished throughout the country.Many of the remaining stations continue to be threatened with removal at any time,and are frequently unoccupied and in a state desperate disrepair.With the 21th century's adventure,people have cognized that the remaining heritage railway stations should be protected,and the advice which would improve the present situation of stations should be proposed.The research of viewpoint to heritage stations which is based on practice,history and environment,the research of restoration plan for heritage stations in Canada,and the protective means which we can draw lessons from,should be beneficial to the development of cultural heritage conservation in China.
