Abstract
The open policy which Google Maps API adopted pushed application development of WebGIS to a new high.Aimed at those new special applications,such as path planning and traffic inducing,this article deeply analyzes the traffic network features and path searching methods which Google Maps employed,examines the policy of abstracting local traffic data using those available objects and methods provided by Google Maps APIs,and designed the algorithms to get traffic data in some classical road.
