A portable concentration detector of hydrogen peroxide based on electrochemistry was developed.It is used to detect the existence of hydrogen peroxide in foods.After the reaction between hydrogen peroxide and the specific reagent on a disposable test strip,a micro-current signal is generated. The concentration of hydrogen peroxide in the sample will be quantitatively determined by the generated current signal.Both hardware and software design of the meter are presented.Testing experiments were carried out to access the accuracy and resolution of the meter.
