Abstract
Seed germination in steril sowing and micro-propagation of Guangxi Native Cymbidium faberi were studied.The results showed that,seeds soaked in the NaOH solution cold pre-treatment of the seeds,and culture with lower-salt basic medium were preferred for seed germination,leading to earlier seed germination and higher germination rate.The preferred medium for Native Cymbidium faberi micropropagation was Kyoto medium.The suitable growth regulator combination which promoted protocorms(rhizomes) proliferation was 2 mg/L 6-BA plus 1 mg/L NAA,and the proliferation rate reached up to 4.3 times.Furthermore the fruit extract(especially coconut milk) supplemented in the culture medium had significant effects on shoot elongation and rooting,and the rooting rate reached up to 100%.
