Abstract
This paper introduces a design method of hardware and software of a kind of portable gas pressure detector driven by menus based on C51. I 2C bus technique is used in hardware design. The LCD menu display and data management are realized through pointer and structure data in the C51 language. In addition, the detector result can be saved and output by micro-printer. It is characterized by small size, low power dissipation, high reliance, good human-machine interfaces. Its function can moreover be updated.
