Abstract
Physico-chemical and sintering properties of Canadian iron concentrate,as well as the metallurgical properties of sinter made by adding the concentrate were studied in the laboratory.Suitable sintering parameters were obtained as follows: suitable proportion of Canadian iron concentrate in the mix was 10%~15%;the suitable coal rate was 4.9%~5.3% and the suitable moisture was 6.2%~6.4%.Experiments showed that the sinter made by adding Canadian iron concentrate had good metallurgical properties.
