Abstract

Petri net is a powerful modeling tool which is widely used in modeling and analysis of business processes,but prototype Petri nets are not appropriate for cost analysis.Firstly,the definition of prototype Petri nets is given,then for the need of cost analysis of actual business processes,this paper proposes Price Petri nets by extending the prototype Petri nets with price factor,and Price-state-space is defined,then a algorithm is given to construct the Price-state-space of Price Petri nets,finally,this paper gives an example and draws a conclusion that Price Petri nets can effectively analysis the cost of business process.
