Abstract
The separator is an important equipment on board,Alfa-laval separator is used most widely.This paper introduces the structure and the characteristic of S-type separator,on the base of experience,summarizes the usual faults of S-type separator during running and faults finding.Finally,some effective management experience is put forward,Let marine engineers know what they should pay attention to.It has a very good reference value and significance in reality.
