Abstract
Since the 1990s,Canada has carried on a series of deep reforms in the public basic educational administration through the market regulation mechanisms.The Canadian public basic education,after reform,has taken on prosperous scenes.Public schools offer free and equal educational opportunities for all Canadians.The strict supervisory and administration system in public basic education,and strong funding support for public basic education are some examples.However,free market mechanism is actually a double-edged sword,which has promoted the success of the reform but at the same time has brought new challenges to the Canadian public basic educational administration.
