Abstract
In this paper the characteristics of the sintering dust of laterite nickel ore are analyzed,and the design and technical characteristics of the pneumatic dust conveying system are introduced.According to the practice of the pneumatic conveying system put into operation more than a year,evaluation and economic analysis were given for its operation effect,and it is comprehensively thought that adopting the pneumatic conveying system for the sintering dust is feasible,economic and environmental friendly.In addition to this,the deficiencies and direction for further improvement are pointed out.
