International Innovative Products of Agricultural Insurance and Their Useability in China

Abstract
As one of the most effective methods to disperse agricultural risks,agricultural insurance is not only an agricultural protective measure promised by the green box policies of WTO,but also an institutional arrangement to accelerate the modernization of agriculture.Because of the defects of traditional agriculture-insurance products,some countries have developed many innovative products.This paper introduces these new products,and then discusses their useability in China.Our main finding is that revenue insurance suitalbe for developed countries such as USA and Canada,but not suitable for China at present However,index insurance can be introduced and needs to be kept pefect.
