Abstract
The design and experiment of the double folded quarter mode substrate integrated waveguide( DFQMSIW) filter are presented. The coupling between the cavities is realized by the middle layer slot. The size of the DFQMSIW filter is reduced nearly by 75% compared with quarter mode substrate integrated waveguide( QMSIW) filter. The stimulation and measurement results show that the filter has the advantages of low insertion loss and easy integration. The DFQMSIW filter will be reference for the design of miniaturization microwave filters.
