Abstract
In this work,the structures of tribasic aluminosilicate melts and the effects of melt composition on structures were studied by Laser Raman spectroscopy and IR spectroscopic method,and it is concluded that the structures of the aluminosilicate melts are significant influenced by the melt composition. With increasing percentage of SiO2 ,the melt network structures changes from sheet and chain to frame and sheet. An increase in percentage of A12O3 and CaO led to depolymerization of metis by part of A13+ and surplus Ca2+ which act as network-modifying cation.
