Abstract
To study the germination feature of Pinus sylvestris L.ssp.Kulendensis Sukaczw seeds introduced abroad under salinity stress,an germination experiment was conducted by treating seeds of 9 provenances with different NaCl concentrations(0%、0.25%、0.5%、0.75%、1% and 1.25%),by contrast with domestic Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica seeds.Results showed that the germination percentage,germination energy and germination index all decreased gradually with increasing NaCl concentration,and initial germination time and average germination time both prolonged.The responses of seeds germination for different provenances to NaCl stress were significantly different.Pinus sylvestris L.ssp.Kulendensis Sukaczw seeds were superior to Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica seeds for salt tolerance.Cluster analysis indicated that 754,N8 and 17245 were the best provenances for salt tolerance.
