Abstract

The hardware and software design thought and implemented method of Chinese character display system based on MCU control by taking graphical liquid crystal display LM3229 as an example have been dealt with. The display mechanism of Chinese character display is taken apart in detail. System program designing and analyzing adopts two display ways, text display way and graphical display way, comparing the advantage of each way in realizing Chinese character display. Meanwhile, system design and simulation have been completed on embedded system design platform Proteus ISIS. Therefore, the optimizing design project is obtained and the typical design example of Chinese character liquid crystal display control system is given.
