Since the past 20 years,it has been urgent for many winter cities to improve the quality of winter cities' public open space and enhance winter cities' attraction.Canada,China,Japan,the US,Northern Europe and some other countries are carrying out the corresponding research on construction technology aiming at cold region cities' climate characteristic,including the energy application and the energy conservation technology,the snow and ice processing technology and so on,and carrying out the improvement of the urban public space in cold environment.
