Studies on Effects of NaCl Stress on Tomato Seedling's Growth and Organic Osmatic Content and the Pertinence

Abstract
In this reseach,using tomato seedling in vitro as materials,effects of different NaCl treatments on its growth,rooting,water content,root/shoot and the content of proline,soluble sugar and soluble protein were studied.Results showed: tomato seedling's heigth,multiplication times,root length and the root numbers decreased with the NaCl content increasing,and the root length were restricted firstly,then the root numbers.With the NaCl content increasing,water content of seedling increased at first,and then decreased,proline and soluble sugar increased significantly,while the ratio of root to shoot and soluble protein decreased.Correlative analysis showed that the soluble sugar content was negatively correlated with the height,multiplication times and root length of tomato seedling which was under NaCl treatment(p≤1%);proline content was negatively correlated with the height,multiplication times,root length and root number(p≤1%);soluble protein was positively correlated with the height and root length(p≤1%).Each growing indexes had positive relationship(p≤1%).
