Abstract

The embedded operating system ETOS self-developed by Qingdao Yeetec Technology Co., Ltd. is introduced. After analyzed firewall platform Firewall-R1, the realization of a hardware firewall based on ETOS is introduced in details. Then the implementation of the firewall in the ETOS kernel is analyzed, and particularly to explain the software realization of the hardware firewall. The firewall has been used in the network products of Qingdao Yeetec Technology Co., Ltd. Experimental results indicate the firewall is stable, safe and high efficient.
