Abstract
This paper emphasizes on the problem of researching QoS (Quality-of-Service) routing algorithm in MPLS networks. Though the protocol of MPLS has realized QoS, the effective QoS routing algorithm is actually its realization guarantee. At first this paper designed the cost function formula, then proposed a least-cost-routing algorithm to calculate the least cost path, based on the information from MPLS net nodes, satisfying the specific QoS demands. In the simulation environment, this algorithm has the obvious superiority in raising path use utilization and balancing the network load and so on.
