Abstract
A survey has been conducted on acquisition of spoken English among more than 200 Chinese college students from over 20 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions studying in Beijing and231 oversea students from over ten countries including the US,Canada and Australia,etc.By comparing different groups of data from the survey,this article analyzes differences in acquisition of spoken English by university students from different nations and regions,reveals deficiencies in current English Language Teaching,especially in education of spoken English,and puts forward some feasible suggestions.
