Abstract
IEEE 802.11 based WLANs becomes more and more popular,and people begin to expect QoS support for multimedia applications.Recently,IEEE Std.802.11eTM was therefore published on Nov.2005,which gives reference to implement QoS Guarantee.EDCA is the distributed access method proposed by IEEE 802.11e,providingpreferential QoS support.The paper provides an admission control solution and parameter adjusting scheme based on EDCA.Our solution is considerate and simple to implement,and it can also be used in ad hoc network.
