Novel steric oligofluorene based polymers were synthesized by a simple condensation.These polymers were investigated by DSC,TGA,CV and photoluminescence test.It shows that these polymers possess high Tg(164 ℃ or 234 ℃),good thermal stability,excellent stability for n-doping and p-doping process,and higher PL efficiency.The striking property of polymers was that their PL spectra showed remarkable stability having very little change after annealing in a vacuum oven at 100 ℃ for 24 h.This is owing to the steric structure which helps to maintain the stability of the amorphous state of polymers in solid films and can completely suppress the aggregation during the operation.
