Abstract
Elite dairy cattle register and individual planned mating PDA devices through using the embedded system Microsoft Windows CE.NET,C#,eMbeddedVisualC++4.0,and SQL Sever 2000 database was designed.There were three functions of the PDA devices:(1) the basic information of the cow was collected and input in dairy farm;(2) body type and appearance of dairy cattle was scored according to the Canadian standard in dairy farm;(3) function of individual planned mating and pedigree information collecting,the improved standard and semen number of bull were input,the PDA would get the results of individual planned mating automatically.The data will be reserved in the dairy cattle information management system of the PC after information acquisition.
