Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of therapeutic method based on electro-acupuncture on Simplified McGill pain questionnaire from patients with primary Sciatica.Methods:Eighty-six patients were divided into two groups:49 patients in treatment group and 37 patients in control group.The patients of the treatment group were treated by electro-acupuncturing on Huantiao and yanglingquan with spar-dense wave.The control group was treated with routine medicine.Simplified McGill pain questionnaires of two groups were observed after 4 weeks.Results:The effects of treatment group excel in that of control group(P0.05);The recurrence rate of treatment group was much lower than that of control group(P0.05).Conclusion:The therapeutic method based on electro-acupuncture plays an affirmative role in treating Primary Sciatica,and has a lower recurrence rate than treating with routine medicine.
