Abstract
The policies of overseas Chinese after World War Ⅱ,consisting of immigration,nationality,economy,culture,education,and society etc.,were different in various countries.The policies of Southeast Asia countries were sever relatively.The policies of the United States,Canada,Australia,and New Zealand etc.were lenient relatively.As for other countries,some were stern and some were lenient.Many countries have regulated the policies according to need of situation.In spite of the fact that the policies were instable,the general tendency of the policies was toward amelioration gradually.The living environment of overseas Chinese have been improved gradually.
