The performances,characteristics and applications of various feeding units of pneumatic conveying system are compared,focusing on the practical problem of conventional Venturi feeder.The structure character and usage of the several new Venturi feeders,which are applied both at home and abroad,are introduced.The combination of two kinds of feeding units,that the Venturi feeder is combined with continuous mechanical rotating feeder,can improve the inherent problems when they are respectively applied.The LAVAL pipe in controlling flow capacity and pressure in dense phase pneumatic conveying system is described.The main function of LAVAL pipe is in respect of controlling and stabilizing the flow capacity and pressure,in which the stable and even pneumatic conveying can be ensured.
