Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The paper constructs a set of simultaneous equations, sampled by the data of 16 A-share listed banks from the first quarter of 2008 to the third quarter of 2012,to test the risk-disciplining effect of bank franchise value, agented by Tobin’s Q.The empirical test runs comparatively large sample scale and comparatively long time interval. The outcome verifies that during the years after the newest financial crisis, franchise value does help Chinese banks to control market risks.Enlightened by this,it is suggested that regulatory authorities should guide banks to accumulate more bank-related franchise value. And to boost banks to be listed will do good to develop the risk-disciplining function of franchise value.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
