Aimed at solving the problem of water resources exploitation in Urumqi City,a long series of computation were conducted for different combination scenarios of water resources deployment by using the model of water resource deployment based on the Water Resource Management Model which developed in Alberta Environment Natural Resources Service Bow Region in Canada,according to the idea of three balances of water resources deployment,analysis and comparison were made of the result.Through the analysis and comparison,a rational amount of water allocation was worked out.
