Abstract
From July,1985 to November 1,2010——the time of the sixth census——a second-child experiment calledlater marry,later birth and longer intervalin Yicheng County,Shanxi Province has implemented a quarter of a century. Based on the third,the fourth,the fifth and the sixth population censes data,family planning report of Yicheng County,Shanxi Province statistical yearbook and Linfen statistical yearbook and other relevant data,through the historical data comparison and different policy implementation area comparative method,we analyzed the effects of thelater marry,later birth and longer intervalin Yicheng county,Shanxi Province. The results showed that the effect of population control in Yicheng County is much better than the current policy on birth control,and the sex ratio at birth in Yicheng County is more reasonable than the nation and Shanxi Province. Althoughlater marry,later birth and longer intervalin Yicheng County is more reasonable than the current policy on birth control,its implementation also have some ocial friction.r r h
