Abstract
To address the growing problem of urban traffic jams.an accurate estimate on the traffic flow has became very important.In this paper.a new method of hybrid programming.which is based on COM with Delphi and Matlab.is used to estimate traffic flow through the fitting analysis of the historical taffic data.and the result data is accurate and reliable.The software is simple and flexible to use.What's more.It has advanced the level and the efficiency to forecasting future traffic flow greatly.
