Abstract
Under sub-critical water conditions, substitute sucrose for formaldehyde to synthesize green, environment-friendly adhesive which is similar to the urea-formaldehyde resin. Through the parallel experiment the proportioning ratio, temperature and time of reaction were determined, then through orthogonal experiments, the optimum type of catalyst (acid), the amount of using catalyst, proportioning ratio, time and temperature of reaction were chosen. Experimental results showthe optimumprocess conditions are as follows∶n (sucrose)∶n(urea) =5∶1; the phosphoric acid is used as catalyst with the amount of 4%; the temperature∶205℃, reaction time: 3min.
