Abstract
This paper mainly focuses on the microwave traffic information collecting radar that is based on the TMS320VC5416 DSP,and describes both the hardware and software design of the radar in detail.We present the difficulties in the circuit design,and give the solutions to them.Then the signal processing flow is illustrated,and the booting process in emphasized.Finally,the field test results are presented,which prove the feasibility and effectiveness of the microwave traffic radar.
