Abstract
In this paper,the specification and the application of two pieces of EDI water purification equipment,Ionpure TM produced by USA and E-Cell TM produced by Canada,are described briefly.The Developments of the researches on electroregeneration of ion exchange resin and the manufacture of EDI water purification equipment in China are introduced. Based on the technological level,market analysis and other factors in China,the author suggests that the electroregeneration of ion exchange resin,by using the principle of selfregeneration in EDI,which is invented by the author,should be developed precedently.
