Abstract
In this paper,with the RNG k-e turbulence model,numerical simulation on the effects of aerial patterns in a residential community on head-level wind environment of pedestrian field was carried out.By simulating four different aerial patterns,the results indicated that aerial layer in the first floor could greatly improve the wind environment of pedestrian field,the flow filed was reasonable and there was no complex backsets.As a result,the references for residence communities' planning and building design were provided.
