Abstract
A method to combine wavelet transformation and classified vector quantiztion is proposed in this paper,First ,using directional tree structure combine vector.secondly,classifying vector with the vector's energy.Finally,using the nonlinear interpolative method quantize the vector.This paper makes vector combination by employing the correlation between and within subbands.Simulation results show that it has high encoding efficiency.
