According to the performance advantages of PC and PCI-Bus,an opening motion control system based on PCI-Bus was developed,which can be assembled into different mechanical equipment to achieve the computerized numerical control.Host-driven multi-CPU operating mode was using in this system,and the operation is high-speed steady.Through expending PCI-Bus motion control card,32 axis motion controlling can be achieved.This system was used in laser rapid prototyping,and the results of case studies justified the feasibility and stability of this system.
