Forest fires cause irreversible damage to fragile natural ecosystems and human assets.In order to reduce the impact of fires around the world,People plunge their research on forest fires and their effects.Forest Fire Monitoring is a important portions as operations for fire-fighting,Video Surveillance has widely gained applications in all over the world.This article puts forward a new video surveillance system which based on embedded system of ARM+DSP,μC/OS-II and GPRS transmitting technology.This system is especially in the condition of low transmitting speed,Especially on fixed Watching Towers.
