Abstract
The objective of this study is to find a suitable functional form for United States apple juice import demand and analyze import demand elasticity,using data of United States apple juice import from January in 2002 to December in 2010.Otherwise,this study considered and tested adding-up,homogeneity,symmetry,endogeneity and goodness of fit of demand system.The results show that the general model is more accurate than other models.The expenditure elasticity of the United States apple juice import demand from china is positive and significant.The own-price elasticity doesn't influence United States apple juice import demand from china significantly.The main competitor for china apple juice exporting to United States is Canada.
