With the dramatic increase of the number of individuals going abroad,the protection of the interests of overseas Chinese has gradually become the subject of great concern to China's government.The protection of the interests of overseas Chinese include diplomatic protection,consular protection and emergency protection.These three methods not only interrelated but differentiated,and in recent international events,the emergency protection mechanism has been showing its reality and practicality.This article starts with the definition of emergency protection,through analyzing the practice of other countries and our country,then puts forward the significance of perfecting emergency protection and the responding practices.
