Abstract
In the 21st century, Chinese higher education is in the transition from the elite education to the popular education. The increased enrollment in the tertiary institutions and the diversified educational levels and styles call for serious reflections on higher educational quality. The paper analyzes the higher educational quality accreditation systems in America and Canada and hopes to use their experiences for our reference and puts forth some views on establishing quality assurance system of higher education in China.
