This paper discusses the framework and design method of network courseware edit ~ producing system,and provides network courseware metadata annotating model,content packing model,and network courseware model based on Extensihle Markup Language (XML).This system effectively solves the problems such as the network courseware data distribution stor- age,resource share and data exchange,and realizes the nonlinear edit technique with which video stream multimedia materials can be cut,united,edited and compounded directly.It adopts multi-track information organization based on timeline to realize the synchronization of the network courseware with video,audio,power point (PPT),lecture,move--picture and catalog at one time.
