The equipments in computer rooms has very high request on temperature and environment. For a long time, there are some problems of large power consumption and high maintenance costs for air conditioner in computer rooms. Concerning the energy saving, through the theoretical analysis and calculations, the feasibility and energy-saving effects of air to refrigeration are discussed. Combination of the air energy exchange and traditional refrigeration compressor, a new air conditioner for computer rooms which is energy saving and practical and can be used in the place with high heat source is designed. The structure and working principle a new type of equipment rooms air conditioner are given in the paper.
