Le Service Documentation de Louis Vuitton Malletier est un service d'informations qui s'inscrit dans la grande lignee des centres de documentation en entreprise. Suite a un changement de Direction et aux avancees technologiques qui ont ete faites en matiere de traitement et d'analyse des donnees, l'equipe s'interroge sur la creation d'un service specifique lie a la surveillance strategique de la concurrence : la fouille de textes. Ce memoire s'attache, par le biais d'une etude portee sur la presse internationale de la marque Hermes, a identifier les apports et limites d'un tel exercice a la strategie concurrentielle de l'entreprise en questionnant les dynamiques identitaires de la marque Hermes a partir des donnees textuelles.
