Abstract
By examining the official site of the world-renewned science and technology museum,such as the national air and space museum,London science museum,the Questacon and the Ontario science center,by searching and mining sporadic information and fragmented information,collating and extracting these famous science and technology museum free-open policies and practice initiatives,the study found that limited free with the difference in charges is a combination of the basic open-door policy practiced by science and technology museum,adequate and relatively stable funding is the prerequisite of running science and technology museum,innovative conventional project and expand extension services business is the fundamental guarantee of the open-free policy of science and technology museum,establishing a high moral volunteer team is the strong support of the operation of the science and technology museum. The study puts some enlightenment in order to provide some useful references for the sustainable development of China' s science and technology museum.
