Abstract
Alias Grace,one of Margaret Atwood's Novels,has bright polyphony in narrative style.In the paper,the polyphonic characteristics of loquacious dialogue,Incompletion,Open-endedness of the writing are analyzed.It points out that the aim of the writer in employing polyphony is to criticize and overthrow the traditional dominance of male-centered narrative and to disclose the female predicament in Canada which was concealed in the traditional narrative.The Postmodern Polyphonic mode of narrative successfully expressed a strong feminist consciousness.
